Meet Two Igbo Entrepreneurs Whose Igbo-Inspired NFTs ‘Ije Mmuo’ Are Conquering The Crypto Space
The world is fast moving forward into an age where ICT and Tech rules, and also create an avenue for innovation and wealth creation. And as the world keeps edging forward, the Igbo people have continued to close the gap in all sectors of human development, with our young men and women building systems, platforms, and digital products that contribute to the fast-developing world of ICT and TECH.
The Cryptocurrency ecosystem is of the world’s biggest digital technological shifts, and NFTs are a recent and innovative addition. And it gives us great joy at Voice Of The Sun to share the story of these two young Igbo men who are using their startup and skills to infuse Igbo art and spirituality into the world of NFTs.
The names of these Igbo brothers who are making us immensely proud internationally are, Prince Anelo and Tochukwu Nduneseokwu. Their NFT collection is named IJE MMUO. Ije Mmuo when viewed from the aspect of Igbo cosmology means “the walk of the spirits/deities” OR “the journey of the spirits/deities”. And the name is deeply and esoterically expressed in the masks of the individual Mmuo in their IJE MMUO collection.
According to their description of the project on OpenSea, the IJE MMUO collection is a “digital collectible of Art Assets” with a high-end hybrid (AFRICAN SPIRIT TEAM), for individual subjective parody collection of unique NFTs living on the Ethereum Blockchain.
Prince Anelo is a Nigeria-born businessman/entrepreneur, who’s building a business legacy with Youth empowerment at heart. He is the founder of Eiuogram Farm & Technology LTD. Tochukwu Nduneseokwu is a Nigerian Entrepreneur, Musician, and graphic designer. He is the Co-founder of Eiuogram Farm & Technology LTD.
